Standard tuning
A stable, musical result
A standard appointment is intended for a piano in generally serviceable condition that needs routine tuning rather than major repair. Ming assesses the instrument, tunes with attention to stability and musical balance, and explains any condition that may require additional work.
Ming has tuned more than 60 pianos. This hands-on experience supports a careful, practical approach to each instrument.
Most routine appointments take approximately 90 minutes to two hours, depending on the piano and its tuning history.

Pricing by instrument, not by the clock
Standard tuning
$195
For a piano near standard pitch and in generally stable condition.
Pitch raise plus tuning
From $245
For a piano significantly below pitch that needs an additional correction pass.
Minor repairs, broken parts, heavy rust, unstable tuning pins, or other complex conditions are outside the standard rate. Any additional recommendation and price will be discussed before extra work begins. Travel outside the regular service area may add a clearly quoted fee.
Credential
Documented advanced-skill training
The public certificate copy preserves the credential, name, skill level, certificate number, issuing organizations, seals, and date. The national ID number and QR code are redacted for privacy.

How often should a piano be tuned?
Many home pianos benefit from tuning about twice a year, while usage, climate, instrument condition, and performance needs may change the schedule.
What is a pitch raise?
When a piano is substantially below standard pitch, one fast correction pass may be needed before the fine tuning can be completed.
Can every piano be tuned to standard pitch?
Not always. Age, string condition, structural concerns, and pin stability affect what is safe and realistic. Ming will explain the options after assessment.
